The no.1 defensive team in the Ohio Valley Conference, Eastern Illinois, held Tennessee State to sub 40% in three of four quarters as the Panthers handily defeated Tennessee State 69-49 Thursday night.  The Panthers controlled the first quarter, trailing in the period. Tuesday morning it was announced that Norfolk State graduate guard Diamond Johnson has earned a spot on the Women’s College All-Star Game Midseason Watchlist presented by Herbalife.  The watchlist is comprised of players who appear to be on the path to continue to play the game at the professional level.
