Monday was a good day for the Zoom Vaporfly 4%. The shoe was worn by Geoffrey Kirui, Galen Rupp and Suguru Osako- who took home first ,second and third respectively in the men’s elite field, and by women’s first and third place finishers Edna Kiplagat and Jordan Hasay.
This version features a white Flymesh upper with a large black swoosh that extends to nearly the heel. This sits atop a white Nike ZoomX midsole. According to Nike, the full-length carbon plate along with aforementioned midsole can make runners up to four percent more efficient than the company’s previous fastest marathon shoe.
You can pickup the Nike Zoom Vaporfly 4% when it releases June 8 on Nike.com and at select retailers.
