Nike SB has joined forces with Concepts to create a Dunk high that is planned to release later this year.
It is inspired by a Louisiana signature holiday dish known as Turducken, which consists of a deboned chicken stuffed into a deboned duck, then stuffed into a deboned turkey. This Dunk High’S colour palette is inspired by the mallard. Across is upper it sports down-like material and laser cut quarter meant to replicate feathers. The custom to lie pattern seen on the collar lining and sock liner is also seen with a complimentary apparel collection that consists of a T-shirt, fleece bomber jacket and beanie.
Tying the turducken theme together is a Nike Dri-FIT chicken foot sock stuffed in the duck-inspired duck which is wrapped in turkey wrapping paper. The theme extends to the packaging, with sneakers coming in an oven-inspired box with holiday leftovers, which include a family dinner-themed turkey leg Neff vortex football.
The Concepts x Nike Dunk High SB ( or according to the tongue label, “Duck High” is set for a exclusive release at cncpts.com and its flagship stores November 14. Subsequent launches will take place November 20 at select skate locations and November 21 on SNKRS. The sticker price is set at $190 USD.
