Wednesday saw the SWAC men’s basketball teams take to the court and all of them came away defeated. Some, such as Texas Southern and Prairie View who fell just by 4 points to Washington State and 5 to UALR respectively while UAPB and Alcorn State were ran out of the gym by 39 points. However the biggest ass-kicking of the evening was taken by Mississippi Valley State, who lost by a mind-blowing 80 points to Arkansas, 142-62. Longtime SC host Trey Wingo leaves ESPN

Trey Wingo, who hosted “SportsCenter” and the network’s NFL Draft coverage over a two-decade tenure, is exiting the network after his contract was not renewed. The decision not to re-up Wingo’s contract came as part of ESPN’s massive job cuts, the New York Post reported earlier this month(the NY Post also reported back in September that Wingo was being let go).
