It sports a white leather foundational layer overlaid with black ,reflective 3M elephant print at the toe and wrapping the heel. Police in KwaZulu-Natal, a coastal South African province, said they apprehended a man who was transporting thousands of dollars worth of counterfeit sneakers. Police spokesperson Colonel Thembeka Mbeke said an intelligence operation was conducted June 9 that observed a suspicious bakkie (truck) travelling on the R69 Vryheid/Hlobane Road near the Shona Settlement. Police intercepted the vehicle and in the course of the search, found several bales of counterfeit sneakers , worth 700,000 South African Rand ( $50,963.45 USD) in the rear of the truck.
