This upcoming Air Jordan 5 is inspired by the classic colourway of the Air Jordan 8. At this juncture, there are no images available, but what’s known is this Air Jordan 5 will utilize a black, aquatone and taxi colour palette. Predictive speculation assigns an aesthetic of a black upper with an aqua Jumpman on it’s reflective tongue. Clear netting would be on the sides, with aqua and taxi lace locks. The “Cardinal” Air Jordan VII is the most recent and clearcut examples of the now fluid nature of Jordan retro release dates. The classic colourway was initially set to begin its fourth retail run, with previous releases in 1992, 2006, 2011, on November 26. However the date was bumped up a fortnight to November 12. Initial images of another upcoming Travis Scott/Jordan Brand collaborative sneaker have come to light. The ”Olive” iteration of the latest Travis Scott branded Air Jordan 1 Low appears to sport black nubuck upper overlaid with white.
