Southern adds another Big-12 skin to the wall, beats Houston 70-62

After stunning Arizona 63-57 on Wednesday, the Southern University women’s hoops team followed up with a wire-to-wire 70-62 win over Houston Sunday afternoon.  Southern took the lead on Mykayla Cunningham’s driving layup on the game’s first possession. The Jaguars maintained the pole position for the balance of the period, taking as much as a 7-point lead. Robert Jones calls out no call at the end of the James Madison game

Wins at any level of collegiate athletics are difficult to come by.
