After long being the subject and speculation of trade rumors, Jerami Grant appears to finally have been moved/
According to Adrain Wojnarowski, of ESPN, the Detroit Pistons are trading forward Jerami Grant to the Portland Trail Blazers in exchange for a 2025 first-round draft pick, proteced 1-4, via the Milwaukee Bucks,.
In addition to the 2025 first, the Blazers and Pistons will swap second-round picks in 2022- Portland’s 36 for Detroit’s 46. Portland will also send a 2025 second-round pick, as well as the most favorable second-pick in 2026 between them and the New Orleans Pelicans. The deal will also give the Pistons a $21 million trade exception, giving Detroit $43 million in cap space with which they pursue free agents.
Last season in 47 games, Grant averaged 19.2 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.4 assists on .426/358./838 splits
