The “Reimagined Black Toe” Air Jordan I is easily one of the most anticipated releases of the balance of 2024. This latest iteration of the “Black Toe” retains the normal visual elements of the classic colorway- white leather foundational layer, black leather overlay at the toe, red heel wrap and collar and black side Swooshes- however the Wings logo has been replaced by “AIR JORDAN.” The branding was initially a placeholder prior to the implementation of the “Wings” logo during the evolutionary period of the Air Jordan I; it also made an appearance on 2017’s “Rare Air” Air Jordan 1.
On the medial collar appears “My Very Best, Michael Jordan” in script, which is taken from the message that basketball’s undisputed GOAT signed an autographed pair that he gave to a friend.
The aesthetic is completed by a white midsole and a red rubber outsole.
As it currently stands, the “Reimagined Black Toe” Air Jordan I High OG is set to debut October 18 in full-family sizing; they will carry a 180 USD sticker price.
