”Melo” Air Jordan 12 returning Summer 2025

According to zsneakerheadz, the “Melo” Air Jordan 12 is in the works for a return in 2025.

Initially released in 2004, it derives its aesthetic from Carmelo Anthony, who then played for the Denver Nuggets. For some inextricable reason that continues to defy logic even two decades later, they were a women’s exclusive release. Thankfully Jordan Brand rectified this misstep with a men’s release on 15 May 2004.

They saw a release in 2016 but once again, lunacy unnecessarily entered the equation, with Jordan Brand pulling a swerve by just releasing the Melo 12 in GS sizing.

At this early juncture there are no available images but what is known is these will make use of a white, university blue, and metallic silver color palette. We should see a ribbed white leather upper overlaid with lizard print mudguards of the same color at the lateral and medial sides. University blue should show up at the inner, “TWO3” and Jumpman branding at the tongue. An additional Jumpman is preached atop the rear heel tab and section that reads “JORDAN QUALITY INSPIRED BY THE GREATEST PLAYER EVER.” Metallic uppermost eyelets and “JORDAN” stamped on the lateral tab round out the upper.

Underneath resides a white midsole and a university blue rubber outsole with white traction sections.

The “Melo” Air Jordan 12 is planned to make its return in the summer of 2025. Pricing and additional information to come as it avails itself.
