CAA announces docket of 2024-25 men’s hoops games to appear on CBS Sports Network

Twenty-seven CAA men’s basketball games will be televised nationally on CBS Sports Network in 2024-25 to continue the league’s national television presence.

CBS Sports Network will show 24 regular season conference contests and its continued coverage of the Jersey Mike’s CAA Men’s Basketball Championship’s final two days with the two semifinals and title game.

These games are in addition to the two December 28contests announced this summer for the CBS Sports Classic: HBCU Showcase. N.C. A&T will host NC Central, and Hampton will welcome Howard for a doubleheader at 2 and 4 p.m. on CBS and Paramount+. CBS and CBS Sports Network will televise 29 games involving CAA teams this winter, the most in league history from the conference’s national television package.

The schedule features rematches of the last two CAA Championships, with games on January 30 in Charleston and February 13 in Wilmington. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (Jan. 20) will feature three nationally televised CAA games on CBS Sports Network, as William & Mary visits UNCW, Hofstra heads to Drexel, and Hampton and N.C. A&T will play in Greensboro.

The regular-season CBS Sports Network slate begins on Thursday, Jan. 9, when William & Mary hosts Elon. The Phoenix will host the next game in the package with a Monday in-state clash against Campbell (Jan. 13), followed by Towson hosting Hofstra (Jan. 16).

Hampton is back in action on CBS Sports Network three days later (Jan. 23) to visit William & Mary before Hofstra and Campbell meet up for the first time since last year’s wild game in Buies Creek when the teams play in Hempstead (Jan. 25). Towson heads to Northeastern for a Monday meeting in Boston (Jan. 27) before the January schedule wraps up with a CAA Championship rematch. Stony Brook heads to TD Arena to face Charleston (Jan. 30).

February’s schedule begins with a Drexel-Towson showdown (Feb. 1) and a Monday game in Williamsburg (Feb. 3) between Charleston and William & Mary, a matchup and location that provided a thriller a year ago. Charleston hosts N.C. A&T (Feb. 6) before a doubleheader on February 8 sends UNCW to Drexel and Towson to Monmouth.

N.C. A&T visits Campbell on a Monday (Feb. 10) before a February 13 doubleheader of Monmouth at Stony Brook and Charleston at UNCW, a rematch of the 2023 CAA Championship. Stony Brook will head across the Sound to face Northeastern (Feb. 15).

Monmouth and Hofstra meet on Long Island (Feb. 20), followed by a Saturday doubleheader (Feb. 22), with Charleston visiting Drexel and UNCW heading to Hampton. Northeastern plays a Monday game at Monmouth (Feb. 24) before the regular-season package wraps up with Elon’s game at Stony Brook on the final day of the regular season (March 1).

CBS Sports Network will televise the semifinals (March 10) and the final (March 11) of the 2025 Jersey Mike’s CAA Men’s Basketball Championship from the Entertainment & Sports Arena in Washington, D.C., as part of the lead-up to CBS’ coverage of the 2025 NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship.
