“Charcoal” Air Jordan VII Set to Return for All-Star Weekend 2027

The long-awaited return of the “Charcoal” Air Jordan VII is finally on the horizon, as the classic colorway is slated to make its retail comeback during All-Star Weekend 2027.

Originally released in 1992 and worn by Michael Jordan during the NBA Finals, the “Charcoal” VII holds a special place in sneaker history, tied to the Chicago Bulls’ second consecutive championship run.

While official images have yet to surface, early reports indicate that the 2027 version will remain faithful to its original design.

The sneaker is expected to feature a black nubuck upper, complemented by an embroidered red Jumpman at the lateral ankle. A standout element, the multicolor neoprene inner sleeve, will again display “AIR JORDAN” across the tongue. Additional detailing includes a purple heel pull tab and the “23” branding at the rear.

Underfoot, a black midsole with red and purple accents sits atop a multicolor rubber outsole, completing the iconic look that helped define early ’90s performance basketball footwear.

As it stands, the “Charcoal” Air Jordan VII is scheduled to release on February 20, 2027, with a retail price of $215.
