Police in Virginia Beach are on the lookout for the perpetrator of the theft of approximately 20 pairs of sneakers from a local store.
According to law enforcement, the incident occurred on May 14. The suspect entered the Dick’s Sporting Goods located on Virginia Beach Boulevard near Rosemont Road and made off with 20 pairs of sneakers valued at over $3,600.
Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
Released stills taken from store surveillance captured the alleged thief both entering and leaving the establishment with his ill-gotten gains. The perpetrator was wearing a black Nike jacket with blue jeans and a white baseball cap.
