ESPN’s Tim MacMahon debunks Rich Paul’s 0-6 comments

Rich Paul’s asinine comments that Scottie Pippen was a more impactful force on the Chicago Bulls than Michael Jordan got attention for all the wrong reasons.

Many sports fans and those in the rising independent sports media thought Paul to be completely out of his gourd and took to their various platform to debunk this latest round of drivel from one of the leaders of the Klutch Sports Department of LePropaganda.

One of the voices of refutation from within the mainstream media machine was ESPN reporter Tim MacMahon. Appearing on an episode of Get Up, MacMahon offered this in response to Paul’s previous comments:

“If you unplug Dwyane Wade from the Miami Heat, LeBron doesn’t win titles there. If you unplug Kyrie from the Cavaliers, they don’t come back 3-1. If you unplug Anthony Davis from the bubble Lakers, they don’t win a championship.”

MacMahon is spot on. The LeSychophants love to point out Michael Jordan’s lack of success sans Scottie Pippen as a way to denigrate Jordan. However they conveniently fail to apply this same standard to LeBron James and the myriad of high end talent he managed to play with over the course of his 23 seasons.

The fact of the matter is that LeBron James had played with far more top flight talent than Michael Jordan ever did, while doing considerably less winning. No matter how much the Klutch Sports Department of Misinformation attempts to rewrite history , alter long held standards of greatness or in many cases , flat out lie, this is an unescapable, undeniable fact they cannot ignore, as much as they would like to.
