One of the most beloved colorways in Kobe Bryant’s signature line is making its return.
According to early reports, the Nike Kobe 8 Protro “Easter” is slated to return in Spring 2027, bringing back the vibrant pastel colorway that originally debuted as part of Nike Basketball’s 2013 Easter collection.
The sneaker features an eye-catching engineered mesh upper that fades from mint green at the toe to golden yellow through the midfoot before transitioning to Court Purple around the heel. Black Swooshes adorn the lateral and medial sides, while a speckled black Cushlon midsole sits atop a white rubber outsole, completing one of the most memorable Kobe 8 releases ever produced.
While the shoe remains faithful to the original aesthetic, the 2027 version is expected to arrive in Nike’s Protro format, incorporating modern performance updates designed for today’s game while preserving the lightweight feel that made the Kobe 8 a favorite among players.
The return continues Nike Basketball’s ongoing rollout of classic Kobe silhouettes and colorways, giving longtime collectors another opportunity to pick up a pair while introducing one of the line’s most celebrated designs to a new generation.
