Falcons Defensive Coordinator Jeff Ulbrich’s Wife Cristina Dies Following Battle With Cancer

The Atlanta Falcons announced Thursday that Cristina Ulbrich, the wife of defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich, has passed away following a courageous battle with cancer. She reportedly died on Sunday, July 26.

Cristina is survived by her husband, Jeff, and their three children: Samantha, Jax, and Jace. The Ulbrich family has long been recognized for their close bond throughout Jeff’s NFL playing and coaching career.

In a statement, the Falcons described Cristina as a “devoted wife, mother, and friend whose strength, grace, and resilience touched all who knew her,” adding that she was a constant source of love and support to her family and the organization. The team asked that the family’s privacy be respected during this difficult time.

Falcons owner Arthur Blank also expressed his condolences, saying Cristina’s greatest legacy is the family she loved so deeply and that her strength and spirit will continue to live on through them.

The thoughts of the NFL community are with Jeff Ulbrich, his children, and the entire Ulbrich family during this heartbreaking time.
