Warriors-inspired Nike KD IV coming in 2025

According to dghoopskicks, a pair of Warriors-inspired Nike KD IV will debut in. 2025.  If the renderings are accurate, one pair is a royal blue-based featuring a fused upper with a gold strap. Kevin Durant breaks out KD 17

Though images have been circulating of the KD 17 for several weeks, the man himself, Kevin Durant took them to the court in Game 1 of the Suns opening round Western Conference playoff series.  They feature an-black aesthetic ( a possible wear test sample?) with the clear translucent KD logo on the tongue offering the only sibilance of visual variety.  A black midsole and matching rubber outsole completes the monochromatic look.  As it currently stands the KD 17 is planned to debut May 24 at nike.com and select retail venues.…

PE Corner: KD breaks out another one

This season Kevin Durant has taken to the hardwood in a plethora of exclusive looks of his KD 16 sneaker.  A recent iteration hearkens back to a classic Dunk, 2006’s “Mork and Mindy” Dunk High SB.  It sports a red and grey upper with a chrome lateral wing. This KD 16 is inspired by one of Kevin Durant’s nicknames, Slim Reaper, which I read he apparently is not a fan of. It sports a wine and black multi-layer mesh upper with white Swooshes flanking both sides of the rear foot. While warming up before a recent game, Kevin Durant tool a new color of his KD 16 to the court. This Player Edition sports a white upper with an orange and pink piping separating the aforementioned white from the metallic chrome below. Black KD and Nike on the tongue, rear heel and sides, respectively. As these are a PE, there is no word of a planned retail release.

This colour of the KD 16 pays homage to the NBA superstar’s mother, Wanda Durant. The upper is comprised of a multilayer mesh that is outfitted in mint foam , with stadium green and and emerald rise also showing in the form of nubuck overlays.
