This LeBron XXII is the embodiment of the continuation of the relationship between Nike, LeBron James, and Florida A&M.  It sports a green upper with a more intense iteration of the hue present at the stylized Swoosh on the lateral side that extends to wrap the heel. Before and during the gold medal match against France, LeBron James broke out two never-before-seen colorways of his new LeBron XXII sneaker.  In warm-ups before the game, James was seen in an all-iridescent pair paired with black at the inner, tongue, rear heel signature, and lateral side Swoosh outline.  The midsole, and its corresponding branding, also share the same visual feature. Las Vegas Aces star and current Olympian Aja Wilson unveiled a Player Exclusive edition of the LeBron XXI. The USA themed sneaker sports a white upper with a navy bordered red portion that forms the shape Swoosh on the lateral side. Navy also shows up on the LeBron signature on the lateral side. LeBron unveils new colorway of the LeBron XXII

The U.S. Men’s National Basketball opened up Olympic pool play against Serbia on Sunday. In the game, which the U.S. won, 110-84, LeBron James broke out a new colorway of his yet-to-be-released LeBron XXII. They sport a navy upper with a red-bordered white overlay that forms the shape of a Swoosh on the lateral side. Red shows up at the inner, tongue backing, LeBron’s signature on the heel  A white midsole and navy rubber outsole complete the aesthetic.  As it currently stands it is not yet known if these will see a retail release.  Images via talksole

At Team USA’s practice on Thursday, LeBron James broke out the next evolution of his signature line, the LeBron XXII. Outfitted in USA colors it sports a white upper with a red-bordered navy section on both sides that forms a Swoosh on the lateral side. The navy tongue is integrated into the upper and features red branding at the tab that’s perched at its apex. LeBron James agrees to 2-year, $104 million with Lakers

It seems that Kendrick Perkins was proven right as James didn’t take a pay cut, agreeing to a 2-year deal worth $104 million. The deal allows James to continue to seize the Lakers on the base of their snarglies, as it includes both a player option and a no-trade clause.  James, 39, opted out of the last year of his previous deal that would have paid him $51,415,938.
