While warming up before a recent game, Kevin Durant tool a new color of his KD 16 to the court. This Player Edition sports a white upper with an orange and pink piping separating the aforementioned white from the metallic chrome below. Black KD and Nike on the tongue, rear heel and sides, respectively. As these are a PE, there is no word of a planned retail release.

This colour of the KD 16 pays homage to the NBA superstar’s mother, Wanda Durant. Since the KD IV, every subsequent model in the KD line has featured one colorway commemorating Durant’s late Aunt Pearl who succumbed to that pernicious disesase, breast cancer in 2000. We previously reported on images of this colorway of the KD 16 that had emerged and now a new and closer set of pictures have come to light… The royal bue of the upper is separated from the magenta portion by a reflective piping/ A light blue wing wraps up on the lateral side. Magenta Nike and KD branding can be seenon the lateal ankle and tongue, respectively. Underneath resdies a white and light blue midsole and a gera wheel patterned translucent rubber outsole.
