The legendary “Grinch” theme is making its way to another Kobe silhouette.
The “Grinch” Nike Kobe III Low Protro is expected to release in September 2026 with a retail price of $190, bringing one of the most recognizable color schemes in Kobe Bryant’s signature line to the Kobe 3 Low Protro. Early reports indicate the shoe will arrive in an Electric Green/Stadium Green color palette under style code IV7127-300.
First-look images showcase the Kobe III’s distinctive molded TPU upper dressed in bright neon green, while aqua blue accents appear on the heel, tongue branding, and gradient midsole. Red laces complete the look, delivering an unmistakable nod to the iconic “Grinch” Kobe VI that debuted on Christmas Day in 2010.
Although Nike has not officially confirmed the “Grinch” nickname, the similarities are impossible to ignore. The color blocking continues Nike Basketball’s trend of bringing fan-favorite Kobe themes to different Protro models, following successful returns of classics like the “Halo” and “Mambacita.”
