Alabama State quarterback Andrew Body is adding another major brand to his growing NIL portfolio.
The standout Hornets quarterback has landed an NIL partnership with Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, according to a post shared by Body and highlighted by Light on Sports.
The partnership gives Body another opportunity to connect his growing profile on the football field with a nationally recognized brand.
Body enters the 2026 season as one of the most accomplished quarterbacks in HBCU football. The Alabama State signal-caller was named the 2025 SWAC Offensive Player of the Year after leading the conference in touchdown passes while helping the Hornets finish with their first 10-win season in more than two decades.
In 2025, Body completed 70.5% of his passes for 1,770 yards, 20 touchdowns and just one interception. He also rushed for 518 yards and four touchdowns, establishing himself as one of the most dangerous dual-threat quarterbacks in the FCS.
His impressive season resulted in even more national recognition. Body was named the 2025 Stats Perform HBCU National Player of the Year and the BOXTOROW National Offensive Player of the Year.
The accolades have continued into 2026. Body was selected as the SWAC Preseason Offensive Player of the Year, earned first-team preseason All-SWAC honors and was placed on the Walter Payton Award watch list.
Now, his impact is extending beyond the field.
The Raising Cane’s partnership is another example of the opportunities available to prominent HBCU athletes as NIL continues to create new avenues for college athletes to build their personal brands.
For Body, the deal comes as he prepares for another highly anticipated season at Alabama State, where he is listed as a redshirt senior quarterback on the Hornets’ 2026 roster.
With preseason honors, national recognition and now another recognizable NIL partnership on his résumé, Andrew Body enters the 2026 season with plenty of momentum both on and off the field.
