Charlie Woods Signs First NIL Deal With TaylorMade, Following in Father Tiger’s Footsteps

Charlie Woods is officially entering the NIL era.

The 17-year-old son of golf legend Tiger Woods has signed his first name, image and likeness deal with TaylorMade Golf, joining the same equipment company his father has represented since 2017.

The partnership comes as Charlie prepares for his senior year at The Benjamin School in Florida and looks ahead to his college career at Florida State University. Woods is committed to play for the Seminoles beginning in 2027. (TaylorMade Golf)

Under the agreement, Woods will play a full TaylorMade equipment setup that includes a Qi4D driver and fairway woods, P·7CB and P·7TW irons, MG5 wedges and a TP5x golf ball.

The connection to his father is particularly notable. Tiger Woods has been a TaylorMade athlete for nearly a decade, while Charlie has already been using TaylorMade equipment during his junior career. Charlie’s P·7TW irons also carry a direct connection to Tiger, who collaborated with TaylorMade on the design.

“Having TaylorMade in my corner has been great,” Charlie said following the announcement. “They’ve supported me a lot over the last year, and I’m really excited to officially be part of Team TaylorMade.”

The deal also comes after a productive stretch for the younger Woods. He won the 2025 Team TaylorMade Invitational, his first AJGA title, and has continued competing against some of the top junior golfers in the country.

Woods recently finished tied for eighth at the Junior Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass, shooting 1-under 215 for the tournament. That marked a significant improvement from his tie for 31st at the event in 2025.

Financial terms of the TaylorMade NIL agreement have not been disclosed. Importantly, widely circulated estimates of Charlie’s NIL value should not be confused with the actual value of his TaylorMade contract.

Charlie Woods now has his first major NIL partnership—and fittingly, it comes with a company that has been part of his father’s legendary career.

The next generation of Woods is officially Team TaylorMade.
