The “Playoffs”Air Jordan 7 OG is officially back on the radar for 2027 — and sneaker fans just got their first look at the highly anticipated retro.
The iconic black-based colorway is currently expected to return on February 20, 2027, marking the first time the “Playoffs” AJ VII has been retroed since 2012.
Originally released in 1992, the colorway features a black upper with Dark Charcoal, True Red and purple accents, bringing back one of the most recognizable looks from the original Air Jordan 7 lineup.
Michael Jordan famously wore the “Playoffs” during his 1992 championship run, including the NBA Finals against the Portland Trail Blazers. The colorway has also picked up the unofficial “Raptors” nickname over the years because of its black, red and purple palette — although the “Playoffs” name predates the Toronto Raptors franchise.
The 2027 version is expected to stay close to the OG construction, including the black nubuck upper and signature red-and-purple geometric detailing.
