This year Jordan Brand decided to end the suffering of fans of the “ Taxi” Air Jordan by finally releasing the classic colorway later this year. In front of that pending return, new and detailed images of the beloved original colorway have emerged.
They sport a white, ribbed leather upper overlaid with black lizard print mudguards at the lateral and medial sides. Underneath the Jumpman-topped rear pull tab reads “JORDAN QUALITY INSPIRED BY THE GREATEST PLAYER EVER.” A black Jumpman is perched atop the tongue, while further down reads “TWO3”, and a plastic overlay on the lateral side is stamped with “JUMPMAN.”
Gold-plated, Jumpman sporting top two eyelets complete an upper that sits atop a black and white midsole as well as a Jumpman-tipped black rubber outsole.
As it currently stands, the “Taxi” Air Jordan XII is slated to return on November 8.
