Aaron Nkrumah Lands NBA Opportunity, Signs Exhibit 10 Deal with Denver Nuggets

The NBA dream remains alive for Aaron Nkrumah, one of the most decorated players in Tennessee State basketball history.

The former Tennessee State star signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Denver Nuggets, earning an opportunity to compete for a roster spot during training camp after going undrafted in the 2026 NBA Draft.

An Exhibit 10 contract is a one-year, non-guaranteed NBA deal that allows a player to compete in training camp. It can be converted into a two-way contract if the player impresses, making it an important pathway for undrafted prospects to reach the NBA.

The Exhibit 10 agreement gives Nkrumah a chance to prove himself throughout the Nuggets’ preseason. If he impresses Denver’s coaching staff, the contract can be converted into a two-way deal, allowing him to split time between the Nuggets and their NBA G League affiliate. Even if he isn’t retained by Denver, the deal provides a pathway to remain in the organization’s developmental system.

Nkrumah’s signing comes on the heels of a sensational senior season in which he established himself as one of the nation’s premier mid-major players. The dynamic guard averaged 17.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 2.8 steals per game, earning Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year honors while leading the Tigers to one of the program’s most successful campaigns in recent memory.

His outstanding play throughout the season earned invitations to both the NBA G League Elite Camp and the NBA Draft Combine, where he showcased his defensive intensity, athleticism, and versatility against some of the top prospects in this year’s draft class.

Nkrumah becomes another Tennessee State player to receive an NBA opportunity, further highlighting the resurgence of the Tigers’ basketball program. His 1rise from OVC standout to NBA hopeful is a testament to the program’s continued growth and ability to develop professional-level talent.

With training camp looming, Nkrumah now has the chance to turn a standout collegiate career into an NBA career.
