Adelaide 36ers and Adris De Leon part ways

After the team’s 93-81 loss to the Sydney Kings, the Adelaide 36ers and point guard Adris De Leon have parted ways.

This season De Leon averaged 7.2 points, 2.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists on 33% from the field in 18.7 minutes per contest; all of numbers that were below his career averages (16.4 points, 3.9 rebounds and 3.1 assists on 41% FG).

De Leon will return to his home country, the Dominican Republic, where he will have the option to play out a longer term deal in the national league there.
