Alabama A&M has 11 former men’s basketball players who are currently playing professional basketball
Experienced Obie Trotter (played in 2002-06, plays pro in Iceland) led Hottur to an easy victory against the eighth-ranked Haukar (0-1), 108-80, in the Icelandic Subway League. He recorded 16 points, six rebounds and four assists in 30 minutes. It was his first game for Hottur this season. His team is placed second in the Subway League.
Xavier Brewer (played in 2022-23, plays in Switzerland) could not help Wallabies in their last game on Saturday. Despite his very good performance, the Wallabies were edged 70-67 at home by Meyrin. Brewer recorded a double-double by scoring 27 points and 13 rebounds. It’s Brewer’s first season with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Brewer averages 20.5 ppg, 11.5 rpg, 1.5 bpg and 2.0 spg.
