Albany State Softball sweeps Ohio Christian

The Golden Rams have won six consecutive games to start the season after defeating the Ohio Christian Trailblazers today at the ASU West Campus.
 
In game 1, the Golden Rams won 8-3.  Sydney Pettus homered in the 1st inning to get the scoring started for the Golden Rams.  Morgan Brown also homered in the 5th inning to drive home 3 runs for the Golden Rams to make it 6-3.  The Golden Rams finished with 10 hits in the game.
 
Kierra Washington got the win for the Golden Rams.
 
In game 2, the Golden Rams defeated the Trailblazers 3-2.  The Golden Rams scored in the 1st inning and didn’t score anymore until the bottom of the 6th inning when Tiana McFarland singled to right field.  The Golden Rams finished with 8 hits in the game.
 
Mackenzie Chamblee got the win for the Golden Rams.
