The Golden Rams Track & Field teams competed in the Emory Spring Break Classic on March 18-19 at Emory University, in Atlanta, Georgia.
The Golden Rams women finished 10th with a team score of 31.50 while the men finished 7th with a score of 50. Several athletes posted personal records in the 400m hurdles, 3000m SC and the 5000.
Sydney Blackburn won 1st place in the women’s discus throw, improving on her D II national mark.
Isaiah McCray finished in the top spot in the men’s triple jump with a jump of 47″1 which got him closer to being on the provisional list for D II nationals.
On next weekend, the Golden Rams will compete in the UCF Knights Invite in Orlando, Florida.
