Fans of the Air Jordan II, or original colourways of air Jordans have been giddy with anticipation ever since news of the ”Chicago” Air Jordan II. The hope was that these would continue the trend of the Off-White and other recent II releases in that it strive to better emulate the shape of the original.
It appears that with these initial images of the “Chicago” II, the shape issue may already he put to bed, as the 2022 version appears to sport the sleeker toe box move in the with the year’s previous releases and the original. I also lacks the colored piping that was present on both the 2004 and 2010 versions, giving it more of the aesthetic of the original and 1994 retro.
That beautiful “NIKE” branding on the rear heel, Wings logo on the tongue and red-accented heel cup complete an upper that sits atop a black midsole and tri-colored , Nike-branded outsole.
The “Chicago” Air Jordan II is scheduled to release October 22; they will carry a 200 USD sticker price.
