The signature line of Donovan Mitchell continues to evolve, as early images of the Adidas DON Issue 8 have officially surfaced.
At first glance, the DON Issue 8 introduces a lower-cut silhouette, offering a sleeker profile that draws some comparisons to the Air Jordan XXXVI. The design leans into modern performance aesthetics while maintaining elements that have become staples of Mitchell’s line.
The upper features a webbed synthetic construction layered with mesh for added breathability and structure. Black accents appear along the collar and inner lining, providing contrast to the more vibrant elements of the shoe. A spider logo—an ongoing nod to Mitchell’s “Spida” nickname—sits prominently atop the tongue, while classic Three Stripes branding is placed at the rear heel.
Underfoot, the midsole showcases a striking green-to-orange gradient, complete with additional Adidas branding. The look is finished off with a mint rubber outsole, rounding out a bold yet balanced color presentation.
The “Lucid Tangerine/Core Black-Pulse Mint” Adidas DON Issue 8 is slated to release on August 15, 2026, via Adidas and select retailers. Pricing is set at $120 for men’s sizing and $90 for grade school.
