The “Olive” Air Jordan 5 is finally getting its long waited second retail run, after 18 years in cold storage. Back when they debuted in ‘06 they were part of the brand’s Lifestyle Series (LS), which was accompanied with coordinating apparel ( several pieces of which I till own and wear).
The 2024 iteration does a bang up job of recreating the aesthetic of its 2006 progenitor, as it features an olive suede upper with solar orange showing up on the inner, Jumpman branding on the reflective tongue , as well as on the rear heel. Clear mesh netting can be seen on the lateral, medial sides and tongue.
Underneath resides an army olive midsole accented with speckled solar orange teeth and a translucent and army olive rubber outsole.
The “Olive”Air Jordan 5 is scheduked to debut March 9 at nike.com and select retail establishments; they will carry a 210 USD sticker price.
