The “Grand Opening” colorway is inspired by the first game colorway of the Air Zoom Generation, his first signature shoe.
They sport an engineered FlyKnit upper with a wine and black woven section that forms a rand, in a “First Game” colorway callback. An iridescent Swoosh adorns the lateral side, while a gold-plated LJ23 logo is seen on the medial. Stitched inside the medial collar is “10-29-2003”, the date of LeBron’s debut, which took place against the Sacramento Kings.
An additional golden LeBron logo sits at the rear heel, completing an upper that resides atop a full-length ZoomX drop in midsole, carbon fiber plate for torsional rigidity as well as a multi-directional rubber outsole that forms a “23.”
More information to come on these, although October 29, 2025, would be a fitting debut date.
