An official look at the “Tokyo” Air Jordan 5

Scores of sneaker enthusiasts are on pins and needles awaiting the return of the “Tokyo” Air Jordan 5, however, obtaining a pair may prove more challenging than initially anticipated. 

It has been reported from multiple outlets that there will only be 20,000 produced. The 2025 iteration follows in the outsoles of its 2011 progenitor in terms of being a limited piece. The original version of the shoe commemorating the opening of Jordan Brand’s Tokyo 23 was hard to come by as it was only available at limited doors within Japan. Even 14 years after its release it still commands a four-figure price on the secondary markets. 

The “Tokyo” Air Jordan 5 is slated to commence its second retail tour of duty September 27 at nike.com and select retail establishments. With such limited stock, interested parties will unquestionably have their work cut out for them in their efforts to obtain a pair. They will carry a 215 USD sticker price.
