Anthony Davis left with 2:09 to go in the first quarter of the Lakers exhibition against the Orlando Magic when he was inadvertently hit across the face by the Magic’s Khmer Burch while battling for the rebound and did not return.
Davis was re-evacuated Sunday and sat out the team’s next scrimmage against the Washington Wizards with eye discomfort.
Mike Trudell reported that Lakers head coach has alluded to the possibility of Davis missing the team’s re-opener on Thursday.
Per league rules, Davis’ status will have to be updated by by 5 pm the day before a game.
