Anthony Davis underwent a procedure to repair a detached retina, according to Shams Charania.
He adds that Davis suffered the injury during the season, as he was struck in the face multiple times over the course of the season. AD is expected to be ready to go when training camp begins in the fall.
Davis was traded from the Lakers to the Mavericks in the Luka Dončić trade that shocked the basketball world. He suffered an abductor stain in his Mavericks debut that limited him to just nine games post-trade. He averaged 20.0 points, 10.1 rebounds in 29.6 minutes ( he was on a minutes restriction following his return from the injury).
