The Atlanta Braves are getting the sneaker treatment once again, this time via a special-edition Nike Air Max 1 that draws direct inspiration from the franchise’s City Connect uniforms.
This upcoming iteration leans into a retro aesthetic, mirroring the Braves’ updated look with a thoughtfully executed color palette and branding details. A crisp white leather base sets the stage, while a dark powder blue rand wraps the upper, delivering a clean yet nostalgic feel.
Royal blue Swooshes appear on the lateral and medial sides, adding contrast, while an MLB-branded lace dubrae provides an official league touch. Atlanta-specific detailing is front and center, with branded hits on both the tongue and heel, tying the sneaker directly to the team’s identity. Inside, each insole is stamped with “ATLANTA BRAVES,” further cementing the theme.
Underfoot, the design keeps things classic with a white midsole equipped with visible Air cushioning in the heel. A red, white, and blue rubber outsole rounds out the look, reinforcing the team-inspired color scheme.
The “Atlanta Braves” Nike Air Max 1 is scheduled to release on May 16 and will retail for $150.
