The Atlanta Dream are bringing the 2026 WNBA Finals to a much bigger stage — and the fans are showing up.
The Dream have sold out the 17,000-seat State Farm Arena after the WNBA rescheduled Games 3 and 4 of the Finals to the Atlanta Hawks’ home arena, according to Front Office Sports.
The games were originally scheduled to take place in a venue with approximately 3,500 seats. The move to State Farm Arena gives Atlanta nearly five times the seating capacity, creating an opportunity for significantly more fans to experience the Finals in person.
From 3,500 Seats to 17,000
The sellout represents a major moment for the Dream as the franchise hosts the biggest games of its season. Moving the Finals from a smaller venue to a full-sized NBA arena highlights the demand surrounding the championship series.
State Farm Arena’s 17,000-seat capacity provides a much larger stage for women’s basketball, and the sellout sends a strong message about Atlanta’s appetite for the WNBA Finals.
The development also adds to the conversation about the league’s growing visibility, fan engagement and ability to attract large crowds for its biggest events.
Atlanta Fans Are Ready for the Finals
With State Farm Arena sold out, the Dream will have a packed building behind them for the rescheduled Finals games.
The question now is whether Atlanta can turn that energy into a championship advantage.
What do you think? Is the sellout proof that the WNBA is reaching another level, or is Atlanta benefiting from a special Finals moment? Let us know in the comments.
