Laprovittola has just been released by Real Madrid and Barcelona has him on their shortlist

Guard Nicolas Laprovittola was released by Real Madrid Thursday and his future might still be in Spain, as Barcelona has him on their shortlist of preferences for the point guard position, per Eurohoops sources.
Laprovittola, 31, spent the previous two seasons with the Whites, averaging 6.8 points and 3.8 assists across 34 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague in the 2020-21 campaign, while he lifted two Spanish Supercup trophies with the team in 2019 and 2020.
UPDATE: As sources further report, the two sides are close to penning a 1+1 year deal.
