After phoning it in with half-assed offerings or outright ignoring the occasion altogether in recent years, Nike seems to have remembered that Black History Month still exists with this upcoming Dunk SB Low.
Reportedly the inspiration behind the design of this Dunk Low is African Tourmaline gemstones and African culture. It sports a tourmaline green suede upper with the edges of each panel bordered with monarch. Black Swooshes adorn the sides with embroidery that wraps the heel and includes a star emblem.
Baroque Brown shows up at the collar and wraps the upper rear heel, which features “Nike” in script on the rear heel. Yellow shows up at the inner, completing an upper that sits atop atourmaline midsole and a red rubber outsole.
The “Black History Month” is planned to debut in February 2025 at nike.com and select skate shops; they will carry a 135 USD sticker price.
