PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Trail Blazers traded Kent Bazemore, Anthony Tolliver and two second-round pics to the Sacramento Kings Saturday in exchange for Trevor Ariza, Wenyen Gabriel, and Caleb Swanigan, a source tells ESPN.
According to ESPN reporter, the trade will save the Trail Blazers $12.3 million and will cut the team’s luxury tax bill in half.
The Portland Trail Blazers are ranked 10th in the West as they head into their game Saturday against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Tolliver scored a season-high 16 points Monday in the Blazers’ game against the Charlotte Hornets. He also had 11 rebounds that game.
