MEAC updates spring 2021 football schedule

From the MId-Eastern Athletic Cinference: The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference released its spring 2021 football schedule on Monday, a slate of games which reflect unique divisional scheduling due to some members opting out of playing in the spring because of the COVID-19 pandemic.  The conference’s spring football regular season will kick off on Feb. 20, 2021 and will conclude on April 3. Coppin State women’s basketball puts team activities on hold

Courtesy of Coppin State Athletic Communications BALTIMORE – The Coppin State women’s basketball team has temporarily paused activities after a positive COVID-19 test within the program. The positive test result was detected during routine COVID-19 surveillance testing, which is conducted three times a week in accordance with NCAA guidelines. As a result of the positive test, Coppin has cancelled its games at Mount St. Mary’s on Wednesday, Dec. 2 at Maryland on Saturday, Dec. 5. In addition, the Coppin State men’s game against Towson, set for Thursday, Dec. 3, has been postponed.  …
