Turner to work out for Los Angeles Clippers in lieu of buyout

Evan Turner is going to workout for the Los Angeles Clippers Saturday, according to a report for from Yahoo Sports’ Chris Haynes. Though Turner is still under contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves, the club gave him its blessing, as a buyout is in the works. Since being taken with the number two overall pick in the 2010 NBA draft, Turner has played with the 76ers, Pacers, Celtics, Trail Blazers and Hawks and has career averages of 9.7 points and 4.6 rebounds per game.
