Isaiah Thomas has a had a rough couple of years. Since averaging 28.9 ppg and being a top 5 MVP contender with the Boston Celtics with the Boston Celtics in 2017, injuries have limited Thomas to just 44 games with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Los Angeles Lakers, and Denver Nuggets over the next two seasons. James Jones releases statement on Ayton suspension

Earlier Thursday , it was announced that Phoenix Suns center Deandre Ayton would serve a 25-game suspension after testing positive for a banned diuretic. This evening, Lebron James benefactor and current Suns General Manager James Jones released a statement on the issue. Deandre Ayton suspended 25 games for violating NBA Drug Policy

The NBA announced that Phoenix Suns center Deandre Ayton will be suspended for 25 games due to a violation of the league’s anti-drug policy. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that he popped positive for a diuretic. Ayton had 18 points, 11 rebounds to go along with four blocks in the Suns’ 124-95 season-opening win Wednesday over the Kings of Sacramento.
