It is no secret that Demarcus Cousins has been hampered by injuries over the past few season, however the freshly signed Los Angeles Lakers has at least one lofty goal for the 2019-20 campaign. Minnesota will not match Tyus Jones offer sheet

The Minnesota Timberwolves declined to match the offer sheet that guard Tyus Jones signed with the Memphis Grizzlies. The Duke product had agreed to a three year, $28 million offer sheet. Minnesota had 48 hours to match the offer to keep Jones, which they chose not to do. Over his fours years with the Timberwolves, Jones provided steady play at the backup one spot.

Oklahoma City trades Jerami Grant to Denver

After shocking the NBA world by trading Paul George Sunday morning, the Thunder apparently are done wheeling and dealing. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski has reported that Oklahoma City Thunder are sending forward Jerami Grant to the the Denver Nuggets in exchange for a 2020 first round pick. The deal seems to address the issues of rebuilding for the future and financial relief as it will save the franchise $39 million in salary and luxury tax.
