It appears that even the New Orleans Pelicans winning the draft lottery (or the draft Zion Williamson sweepstakes, as it has been touted) has not softened disgruntled Anthony Davis’ stance on wanting out of New Orleans. In a move that should fall under the “duh” category, the Philadelphia 76ers will retain head coach Brett Brown for next season, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski from Sixers managing partner Josh Harris. After hyperextending his left knee in the Trail Blazers’ game seven win over the Denver Nuggets, there was concern over if and when Hood would be available for the Western Conference Finals against the Warriors. Hood underwent an MRI, and much to everyone’s relief, it came back clean and his status has been listed as day-to-day for the conference finals.
