Daryl Morey and the Philadelphia 76ers were both fined $75,000 by the NBA for a tweet that was directed at Stephen Curry. Specifically what occurred was that Morey took a screen shot of a post from Stephen Curry’s Instagram in which he congratulated his brother Seth, who is a guard for the 76ers, on a good game. According ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, per a source, Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid will start Game 1 against the Atlanta Hawks.
