Jalen Suggs leaves game with leg injury

Magic guard Jalen Suggs has suffered what appears to be a leg injury in their preseason game against the Mavericks . In the first quarter Suggs went to set a screen on Dorian Finney Smith when he collided with Finney-Smith’s leg and appeared to hyperextend his left leg. Suggs had to be helped back to the locker room. This is the latest health mishap to befall Suggs , who was taken fifth overall in the 2021 NBA Draft. University of Memphis Basketball facing fines and probation over James Wiseman recruiting

The NCAA placed the University of Memphis men’s basketball program for three years and levied a $5,000 fine for Level II and III recruiting violations. The ruling came about following allegations that back in 2017 then-East High School head coach Penny Hardaway paid James Wiseman and his family when he was still in high school.
