Tennessee State women’s hoops takes down SIUE, 77-58

The Tennessee State Lady were able to force 23 SIUE turnovers as they were able to defeat the Cougars 77-58 Saturday afternoon.  Tennessee State scored first taking an early 2-0 lead on Lyric Cole’s jumper. The no.1 defensive team in the Ohio Valley Conference, Eastern Illinois, held Tennessee State to sub 40% in three of four quarters as the Panthers handily defeated Tennessee State 69-49 Thursday night.  The Panthers controlled the first quarter, trailing in the period.
