Twenty-three years after their original release, the “University Blue” Air Foamposite Pro is making its retail return.  Initial images of this returning and well-received colorway have emerged. Savannah State hires Thomas Howard as head coach

Monday Savannah State announced the hiring of Thomas Howard new head football coach, the 26th coach in program history.  “This is a new chapter, not just for me, but for every SSU student athlete, fan, and supporter. I’m truly blessed and excited to join this institution, community, and fan base. Now it’s time to get to work and put this program back on top.” Coach Howard previously served as the defensive coordinator at Fayetteville State University. Willie Simmons inks extension with FIU

According to Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports, Willie Simmons and FIU have agreed to terms on a new contract.  The new deal includes a raise for Simmons, whose current four-year deal pays him $750,000 per year, upgrades to the assistant salary pool, and the school’s revenue-sharing commitment.  Coach Simmons just wrapped up his first season at FIU. NASHVILLE – Travis Harper II scored 23 points, but the Tennessee State men’s basketball team fell to the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks 91-82 at home Saturday. Fourth quarter comeback pushes Lady Tigers past Redhawks 76-72
